I used to buy giclee prints and give it as a gift to my loved ones.

Do not order from this site! I recently ordered a signed print from this site. 60 USD for an ~ 10 x 15 It was a hassle from start to finish.
ReplyDeleteCouldnt accept payment because Paypal 2 different business accounts I had been told to use, had been closed by Paypal. Third time worked, using a personal account. Shipping address was included with the Paypal payment and seperately in an email. Never heard back.
Sent a followup email after 3 or 4 days to confirm receipt of payment and included shipping address again. Heard back confirming receipt and requesting shipping address. ? Seriously? Shipping info sent again.
No updates for a week. Sent another email asking for the status of the order and was told it had just been sent because she only just recently was able to find the shipping info.
Print arrived 2 days later, packaging was intact and undamaged. "New" print had water spots on the bottom left of border and image, smudged dirt stains on upper right on the image and the back had large piece of torn duct tape which cannot be removed without further damaging the print.
This was purchased as a gift for an elderly man who had owned and loved this in his younger years and was intended to be a special reminder of happy memories and had even conveyed this to the seller. I was mortified when I saw the state of the print as he unrolled it. How shameful.
I sent an email expressing my unhappiness with the transaction and terrible condition of the print.
Unsurprisingly, I never heard back.
